We’re off to a great start with the business PhD research project with York St John’s University. Many thanks to those companies and individuals who have participated to date.

The pilot interviews have been relaxed and extremely informative providing vital insights into my thesis entitled “A critical analysis of intercultural negotiations, a comparative study: Arab/UK interactions.”

The programme is gathering significant research which will be of value to any company or individual who depends on developing exceptional negotiation skills within a cross-cultural business relationship.

As we are nearing the end of a successful pilot study, we have decided to extend the research gathering period to 2016 and so there’s still plenty of time to become involved. All participants will receive a copy of the summary research findings and will have the opportunity to discuss any emerging issues that may be of interest to you and your business.

Please contact me at karen@signatureassociates.co.uk to discuss how you can become involved.

Are you a senior manager for a UAE based organisation that has close business links with UK based companies, or the other way around? If so, here’s an opportunity that may be of interest to you and of value to your company.

As part of my ongoing PhD study for York St John’s University, England, I am conducting business research examining the influences affecting cross-cultural negotiations between Gulf-based and UK-based companies. I am currently recruiting for research partners for an academic thesis entitled “A critical analysis of intercultural negotiations, a comparative study: Arab/UK interactions.”

This programme will produce a significant body of primary business intelligence, scrutinising business norms, attitudes and approaches to cross-cultural negotiations, providing insights as to the underlying themes during intercultural negotiations and how they may impact on business practise.

All participants will receive a written copy of the summary research findings and will be offered the opportunity to discuss the findings and any emerging issues that may be of particular relevance to you and your business.

There are a limited number of places still available on the programme. To register your interest and receive more information, please email me at karen@signatureassociates.co.uk

Although the training was to be delivered in English, consideration had to be given to the various nationalities of people who would attend the session. The training programme was held in Germany with participants drawn […]
